Edward M. Gossett founded ERMCO in 1962 as a small service company called Electrical Repair and Maintenance Company. The company experienced rapid growth throughout the 60's. In 1970, ERMCO merged with Maddox Electric. That partnership lasted until Ed's death in 1996. In 1998, Darrell Gossett, Ed's oldest son, became President of the company. Today, ERMCO is still owned by the Gossett family, and many family members are involved in the daily operation of the company.
Throughout our history, ERMCO has maintained the vision to be a leader in the electrical industry. Our success is achieved through customer satisfaction, an emphasis on employee fulfillment along with a commitment to teamwork, innovation, diversification and professionalism. The ERMCO corporate philosophy is to fulfill the changing needs of our customers. Our involvement in national and local organizations allows us to achieve this goal by advancing the work of electrical and communications technology and best practices.
We desire to have everyone who works for or with ERMCO to feel like they are part our family.
