ERMCO repeats as winner of top honors in Pepper's Safety Awards

Each year, Pepper Construction recognizes (3) Subcontractor partners who have demonstrated the highest level of safety on Pepper projects in that year.  This award is presented to the companies which were the best performers in each category, based upon documented safety observations on Pepper jobsites throughout the year.

ERMCO was named the top performer and award winner in the category of Greater than 5,000 Observations for 2009.   This is the second year in a row that ERMCO has been given this honor and it truly speaks to the commitment ERMCO has for safety in all levels of the company.

In Pepper’s announcement of the awards they stated:

“ERMCO is a repeat winner having taken top honors last year as well.  What makes them a top performer is they are really good in the categories that apply most to their scope of work.  It is quite apparent that they successfully convey the importance of the basics to their tradespeople.  Nothing makes this clearer than 99.9% safe with PPE.  Their administration score shows that they do their daily THA’s and Weekly Tool Box talks, and follow up with weekly audits to measure performance.  Equally impressive is their score in the fall protection related categories of lifts and ladders.  A significant part of their work takes place off the ground where access is critical.  They get their folks the right equipment to do the job efficiently and safely.”
