ERMCO announced as 2007 Winner, Better Business Bureau Ethics Award for Marketplace Ethics

ERMCO has been awarded the 2007 BBB Torch Award for Business Ethics by the Better Business Bureau of Central Indiana. This is the second time we have won this prestigious award. We are extremely proud to again be recognized for this award, which is a result and reflection of the manner in which each of our employees conduct themselves and the way they embrace our company values.

Being named the winner of the Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Business Ethics is the most important recognition we could possibly receive, for both the Gossett family and for ERMCO as a company. For our employees, it is confirmation that the ethical way in which they conduct themselves is indeed important and is recognized by others. Furthermore, it gives us a chance to show the public that, despite some of the issues in the news that may lead them to think otherwise, the construction industry is indeed made up of good and moral people who conduct themselves with integrity.

In addition to winning the award, ERMCO and the Edward M. Gossett Foundation once again sponsored a scholarship for the Student of Ethics award. Elizabeth Flood, a junior at Cathedral High School received the scholarship after being chosen by a panel of judges for her essay on an ethical decision she had to make.
