In order to meet the challenge set forth by the vision created by our founding leaders, we have created the ERMCO Institute. The purpose of the institute is to aid in the development of all ERMCO team members in order to drive our success. The goal is to grow and develop it into an individual support group that will touch all employees at some point during their tenure with us.

The ERMCO Institute will provide training and education to all levels of ERMCO employees, from the trainee to the CEO. This will ensure that we are able to provide our customers the team members that are able to meet the challenges that the electrical and communications industry present, now and in the future.

The ERMCO Institute includes multiple levels of project supervisor classes. These classes are for qualified craftspersons who have been nominated by their supervisor as potential leaders. The classes encompass all aspects of the construction industry that will allow them to advance their careers as field management for ERMCO.

Another segment of the ERMCO Institute is the Safety Culture Immersion. The SCI class involves non-supervisor level employees. This program exposes the employee to specific safety training that reaches beyond the safety orientation that they are involved in at the time of new hire in an attempt to enhance their safety support in our efforts to sustain our Zero Incident Policy. To date, more than 100 field employees have completed this course.

In addition to courses for field employees, the ERMCO Institute also holds regularly scheduled classes for all levels of overhead employees that address needed areas of training, including software support and training, leadership development, along with other position specific training and education.

ERMCO Institute is continuously being developed. New courses being planned include additional safety training as well as a project manager course.
