ERMCO, Inc. has once again been recognized by Turner Construction of Indiana as a select recipient of their prestigious Outstanding Subcontractor of the Year Award. This is the fourth time in the last five years that ERMCO has won this award, far more than any other winner. Nominations are made by Turner employees for selected projects and is based on overall performance both at the project level and throughout the support system. This year’s award was received for our performance on the Clarian Cancer Center.

Steve Dirker of Turner spoke at the awards luncheon on behalf of everyone on Turner’s project team. He specifically pointed out the efforts of Bryan Christ, ERMCO’s General Foreman and Tony Gordon, Project Manager, for their leadership and their dedication to working with everyone on the project team, including Turner’s staff, the Owner and the many other subcontractors to ensure the project’s success. Mike Kaiman, Vice President and General Manager of Turner of Indiana, echoed Steve’s comments, saying that ERMCO consistently does whatever it takes to meet Turner’s needs.

Darrell Gossett, President of ERMCO, Inc., stated in his announcement of this award to the ERMCO Staff that “Turner is a leader in our market, a great partner and a very important customer for ERMCO. To win this award four times in the last five years is a true testament to the dedication to customer satisfaction by everyone on the ERMCO team. We sincerely thank the our project leaders and everyone at ERMCO for making us the best in the industry at what we do. We also thank Turner for taking the time to put this program together and to honor their key subcontractors. It is a true indication of Turner’s leadership and their recognition of the important role every member of the team plays in the success of their projects.”

Congratulations to Tony Gordon, Bryan Christ and Tony Schmoll, along with Ken Edwards and the Construction Services Team, Jim Tsareff and the entire support staff, and Wes Taylor and everyone on the field team for making this project a huge success. Thanks as well to Dave Peterson, Joe Allison and the estimating team for building this relationship and securing this project initially. Special thanks also goes to JD Kyle and his safety team for making this a successful project in the way of safety. It is truly a team effort and everyone should be very proud of what the project team and support staff have accomplished.
