MINORITY ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT
ERMCO, Inc. is dedicated to assisting our customers in meeting their goals concerning MBE/WBE utilization and the development of viable minority contractors and suppliers. ERMCO, Inc. has been known for many years as a leader in the area of promoting and nurturing MBE/WBE contractors and suppliers in the area of electrical construction. Following is a summary of our past and current efforts.
MENTOR – PROTÉGÉ PROGRAM
ERMCO, Inc., for many years, has been actively involved in various Mentor/Protégé programs. We have taken the initiative to solicit minority contractors for these programs. Following is a list of our protégé partners to date:

ERMCO believes that this approach is the best way to effectively enhance the minority contracting community. These programs have a long-term effect in developing our partners as viable contracting entities.
MINORITY PARTICIPATION ACHIEVEMENTS
Through our efforts to develop our Mentor/Protégé partners and in the utilization and development of viable MBE/WBE vendors and subcontractors, we consistently meet or exceed the goals of our customers in the area of minority utilization. ERMCO, Inc. has been involved on several projects either current or recently completed in which our MBE/WBE utilization has far exceeded the minimums required of us. Please note that, on projects currently in progress, the above percentages represent our minimum committed or achieved to date on the original contract. We continue to strive to exceed these amounts during the process of completing the projects in progress. While we understand that the real goal is to help create and develop viable minority partners for the future, percentages and dollar figures are a fair measurement of our success in these areas.
