ERMCO, Inc. is providing the complete installation of electrical and systems components for the new 1,200,000 square foot Eskenazi Health Hospital. The hospital is an 12 story state of the art facility with a 6 story Ambulatory Care Building and Central Utility Building on an approximately 37 acre site. The project is being completed using BIM and includes pre-fabrication such as wire mold raceways for the labs, data rooms, and pharmacies.
The new facility will be certified LEED Silver and has a state of the art lighting control system and LED lighting to ensure efficient power consumption.
Once completed, the new hospital will have 400 inpatient beds, 20 surgical suites, 14 imaging rooms, and 2 pharmacies/labs. There will be 22,500 outlets & switches, 30,000 light fixtures and five 2500kw emergency generators. Substantial completion is scheduled for July 2013 and the first patient will be in the facility January 2014.
