ERMCO completed the installation of electrical and all low voltage systems for a new 118,000 square foot co-use facility in Avon, Indiana.
After several years of preparation, the Hendricks Regional Health YMCA became a reality in 2011. The partnership between the two parties provides the opportunity to have a fitness center connected to several physicians’ offices, accommodating members and guests who are in a rehabilitation situation or recovering from an injury. The fitness center features a rock climbing wall, indoor lap and recreational pools, a gymnasium, a family center, a child watch area, and an outdoor education center that includes walking trails. The health facility provides radiology, therapy, diabetes, nutrition and health management services
The new facility has an emergency generator, a lighting control system and energy efficient lighting. All power usage is kept track of by use of a Power Monitoring System. Several types of construction were utilized within the facility requiring specialized electrical installation means and methods to ensure a first class project.
