The Louisville Downtown Arena project is a new, multi-purpose, 22,000 seat, 721,762 square foot arena located in Louisville Kentucky. It will be the home arena for the University of Louisville men’s and women’s basketball teams as well as accommodating a variety of other events including NCAA championships and concerts. It has seven levels, 71 suites, four party suites, 62 junior suites, and nearly 3,000 club seats. The arena has multiple club lounges, a 2,500 sq. ft. store, a 7,000 sq. ft. restaurant overlooking the Ohio River and 32,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.

ERMCO’S labor partner on the project is Henderson Services located in Louisville. ERMCO has established a local office one block from the project site. ERMCO’s Estimating and Construction Services departments have been heavily involved in the project from the very beginning. ERMCO participated in a design assist process with Mortenson Construction and the project design team of HOK and SSR through the budgeting process. Construction Services is providing 3D modeling and coordination for the project as well as developing work assignments, pre-fabrication design for suite wiring, in-wall rough in and distribution equipment.
