The Metro Indianapolis Coalition for Construction Safety, Inc (MICCS) is a nonprofit
organization dedicated to achieving zero injury on construction jobsite's. MICCS members include
construction companies, users of construction services ("owners") design professionals and
construction affiliated organizations and companies. MICCS offers a wide variety of services to
the industry including membership meetings, seminars and an awards program. In addition, the owner
members and many of our contractors agree through MICCS to establish general industry practices as they
relate to safety. In this fashion, working through MICCS, the safety standards of our industry can
be raised.
ERMCO has played an active role in MICCS since it's inception. As a company, ERMCO has received
several honors from MICCS, including the Safety Achievement Award which is an annual award for an
outstanding safety commitment and the Safety Leader Award which is given to the electrical contractor
with the most outstanding safety program. Individually, former President Jim Maddox received the
Board of Director's Award in 2001. Donna Cale, former Safety Directory who retired in 2002 served
in several key positions and was recognized for outstanding service as a member of the MICCS Board
of Directors. Several ERMCO employees have been honored as outstanding craft person and in 1999 Jim
Buis received the Burnie McGinnis Award which is presented to the person who demonstrates the most
outstanding individual effort in the area of construction safety.

The Indiana Department of Labor (IDOL), Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Administration
(IOSHA) and the Metropolitan Indiana Coalition for Construction Safety (MICCS) mutally recognize the
importance of a safe and healthful work environment for Indiana's construction workforce.

Greg Gossett, Vice President of Corporate Operations, serves on the MICCS Board of
Directors, the Long Range Planning Committee and the Certification Committee and is the Treasurer
for the Executive Board. JD Kyle, Health & Safety Director is on the Safety Director's Council.

ERMCO is a member of the Electric Roundtable which is a national association of electrical and
communications contractors who are committed to be the best in class in all phases of their
business. Out of the large pool of more than 65,000 electrical contractors in America, eight of
the most successful and respected companies have associated together to promote process
improvement within the electrical contracting industry.
We share best practices through a combination of top level management meetings, individual
company critiques and committee meetings of employees who perform similar functions at each of
the companies. The annual Safety Committee was hosted by ERMCO in 2005.
ERMCO has been a member of the Electrical Roundtable since 1998. Other members of the
Roundtable include Cleveland Electric in Atlanta, Georgia; E-J Electric in New York; Frischhertz
Electric in New Orleans; Maron Electric in Chicago, Illinois; Mona in Clinton, Maryland; Nathan
Alterman in San Antonio, Texas; Bruce and Merrilees in New Castle, Pennsylvania.
