SERVICE & MAINTENANCE–
AN EXTENSION OF YOUR TEAM

Whether it’s an industrial manufacturing facility, high-rise apartment building, corporate office, healthcare campus, or a residential home – ERMCO’s Service Team acts as an extension of your team, helping with regular maintenance and getting you back up and running as quickly as possible when the unexpected happens. In 2021, we worked to improve and expand our service team and offerings to better serve you throughout the life of your buildings.

ERMCO’s Service Team will have                       dedicated service vans by the end of 2022. ERMCO’s fleet of

vans provide additional resources as needed, enabling even shorter response times.

COST SAVINGS THROUGH PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

Many insurers are encouraging facility owners to implement preventative maintenance programs and often offer discounts to those who do. ERMCO regularly conducts preventative maintenance services for clients including Honda, Goodwill Industries and Enterprise. Preventative services include infrared scans and arc flash analysis to identify and address potential issues before they cause costly emergencies.

During a recent preventative maintenance service call for an industrial manufacturer, ERMCO technicians found a cracked 800 amp disconnect with infrared scanning. A new disconnect was ordered and installed before the cracked one failed. This preventative approach allowed the owner to complete repairs at a time that worked best for operations while also preventing what would have been a very costly plant shutdown if the disconnect had failed.

WHEN THE UNEXPECTED HAPPENS

ERMCO’s Service Team is available 24/7 to help when there is an emergency.  We recently worked with a local restaurant who lost power during their dinner shift, forcing them to close early. ERMCO technicians identified that the main power feed had failed. They were able to repair the damage within four hours, enabling the restaurant to be back up and ready in time for opening the next morning.

SPECIAL EVENTS SUPPORT

Service Technicians provide on-site support for special events for clients including Grand Park, the Indiana Convention Center, Lucas Oil Stadium, and the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Special Events services range from temporary power and lighting to multimedia and technology systems.

WESTFIELD'S GRAND PARK

ERMCO supports all events held at Westfield’s Grand Park, which has 14 buildings on its 400-acre campus. There is an Event Center for trade shows and special events, outdoor and indoor spaces for sporting events and tournaments, and facilities for the Indianapolis Colts Training Camp.

INDIANA STATE FAIRGROUNDS

The Indiana State Fairgrounds has been an ERMCO customer since the company was founded in 1962. ERMCO provided temporary power and lighting as well as maintenance services for that year’s State Fair. Today, ERMCO provides the electrical and systems services for each annual Indiana State Fair as well as all of the Fairground’s more than 400 events throughout the year.

We’ve worked together to remodel and upgrade almost every building on the Fairgrounds campus including the Indiana Farmers Coliseum renovation, the recent construction of the Soybean Experience, the Glass Barn, and the Subaru Skyride, and the upcoming Fall Creek Pavilion.

We have worked with the Marion County Capital Improvement Board for 40 years. ERMCO technicians are on site every day providing maintenance services and support for events at the convention center and stadium including the recently held College National Football Championship.

We rely on ERMCO to be part of our team. The people here, the boots on the ground for all of our shows, are here when it’s snowing or when it’s 100 degrees. They take pride in their work and in doing it safely. It’s a collaboration. There’s not a line in the sand. We’re working together to make this place better.
