We had another sell out crowd of 192 golfers for the 43rd Annual ERMCO Charity Golf Outing this year! Thanks to our golfers, sponsors, donors and employees, it was once again a huge success with a record amount of $70,000 donated! All the costs of the outing are covered by ERMCO so all of the money brought in goes directly to help local charities.
This year, the charities that we provided donations to included:
ACE Mentor Program of Indiana, an organization that helps mentor high school students and inspires them to pursue careers in design and construction.
ELECTRI International, a foundation to fund, conduct, coordinate and monitor the industry’s most critical research to commission and deliver exemplary management education and supervisory training programs.
Indiana Careers in Construction Association an organization whose mission is to educate Indiana high school and college students about educational and career opportunities in the Indiana Union Construction Industry.
The American Cancer Society who provides free programs and services to help manage cancer treatment and recovery along with emotional support needed by those battling the disease.
Hard Hats with Heart, who provides companies in construction-related fields with free resources and tools to improve the health of their employees.
Because of your generosity, we were also able to support a few causes that employees of ERMCO are personally involved in: Pippa Flanary Memorial Scholarship, The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Indiana Chapter, PKD Foundation, and Still Waters Adult Day Center.
Our theme this year was music genres and everyone got involved in the festivities. You can check out pictures from the day in the gallery below.
Thanks to all of you who participated and donated. We truly appreciate your support, hope you had a great time, and look forward to seeing you at next year’s outing!
