We had another sellout crowd of 192 golfers join us for the 44th Annual ERMCO Charity Golf Outing, and this year was extra special. With the launch of the ERMCO Empowers Foundation, the outing raised an incredible $75,000, surpassing last year’s record and making this our most successful event yet!
As always, ERMCO covers all event costs so that 100% of the money raised goes directly to local charities. This year’s donations supported organizations making a lasting impact in our community, including:
ACE Mentor Program of Indiana – Mentors high school students and inspires them to pursue careers in design and construction.
Built to Succeed – Educates career-bound and college-bound Hoosiers about opportunities in the construction industry.
American Cancer Society of Indiana – Funds research, shares expert information, supports patients, and spreads the word about prevention.
American Heart Association – Hard Hats with Heart – Provides construction-related companies with free resources and tools to improve employee health.
ELECTRI International – Conducts and transforms research into meaningful, practical educational tools for contractors.
Through ERMCO Empowers, we also continued a tradition of supporting charities personally meaningful to our employees, including:
Pippa Flanary Memorial Scholarship – Nominated by Jon Flanary
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention – Indiana Chapter – Nominated by Joe Seacat
Kenneth Butler Memorial Soup Kitchen – Nominated by Mike Hoover
People and Animal Learning Services (PALS) – Nominated by Holly DeLong
Son Foundation – Nominated by Adam Tomamichel
Still Waters Adult Day Center – Nominated by Chris Keely
Indiana Donor Network Foundation – Nominated by Dillon Rainey
Friends of the White River – Nominated by Luke Jackson
FACE Animal Clinic – Nominated by Kendall Patterson
Bentley’s Buddies and Friends – Nominated by Dave Kessler
Indiana Central Little League – Nominated by Victor Phillips
Washington Township Healthcare Heroes Scholarship – Nominated by Mike Shannon
This year’s outing truly showcased the heart of our ERMCO family and partners — combining fun on the course with the opportunity to make a difference in so many lives.
We are incredibly grateful to our customers, vendors, sponsors, donors, and employees for making this milestone year possible. Your generosity continues to expand the impact of ERMCO Empowers, and we look forward to building on this momentum together.
Thank you again to everyone who joined us and supported the outing. We can’t wait to see you next year on September 17th!
