ERMCO Celebrates 45 Years of Giving Through Annual Charity Golf Outing
Some traditions are measured by how long they last. Others are measured by the impact they create.
This year, ERMCO proudly celebrated the 45th Annual Charity Golf Outing, marking four and a half decades of bringing employees, customers, vendors, and industry partners together for a shared purpose: giving back.
What started as a single day on the golf course has grown into a lasting legacy of generosity. Over the past 45 years, the outing and its participants have helped contribute more than $1.7 million to organizations that strengthen communities, support families, advance education, and improve lives.
Thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors, participants, and volunteers, this year's outing raised nearly $80,000. Combined with additional giving through ERMCO Empowers, ERMCO's charitable giving efforts have exceeded $150,000 since its inception in 2025.
While the competition on the course is always a highlight, the true success of the event is found in the causes it supports and the people those organizations serve every day.
As always, ERMCO covers all event costs so that 100% of the money raised goes directly to local charities. This year’s donations supported organizations making a lasting impact in our community, including:
ACE Mentor Program of Indiana – Mentors high school students and inspires them to pursue careers in design and construction.
Built to Succeed – Educates career-bound and college-bound Hoosiers about opportunities in the construction industry.
American Cancer Society of Indiana – Funds research, shares expert information, supports patients, and spreads the word about prevention.
American Heart Association – Hard Hats with Heart – Provides construction-related companies with free resources and tools to improve employee health.
ELECTRI International – Conducts and transforms research into meaningful, practical educational tools for contractors.
Through ERMCO Empowers, we also continued a tradition of supporting charities personally meaningful to our employees, including:

As we reflect on 45 years of charitable impact, we are reminded that this tradition has never been about golf alone. It is about relationships. It is about generosity. Most importantly, it is about people coming together to make a difference.
