Following a successful year in which the company was able to grow in spite of a tough economic environment, ERMCO has promoted David Peterson to Executive Vice President and COO effective January 1, 2021. With responsibility for all external operations, David helps guide the company’s efforts from pursuit through construction and helps maintain ERMCO’s client relationships. In his new role, David’s team includes Senior Vice President James Potts, newly promoted Director of Business Development David Werking and several additional experienced preconstruction, operations and marketing leaders.
“David brings a tremendous amount of experience and leadership to ERMCO. His relationships in the marketplace have been vital to our overall success,” said Greg Gossett, ERMCO President and CEO. “As we continue to grow, David’s experience leading teams, driving process and ensuring the client stays at the center of all business decisions will be invaluable.”
David began his career with ERMCO in 2000 and has been part of the company’s executive leadership team since 2009. He has helped grow the company from a staff of 55 to over 125 and field staff of over 650, increase revenue from $71 million to over $200 million, establish a national presence, and expand the company’s services from primarily installation to include preconstruction, integration and maintenance. David is the current Indiana Subcontractors Association President, a former Chairman of the Board and President of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana, and a former President of the Westfield Redevelopment Authority.
“It’s been fun and rewarding to see our growth. ERMCO has an incredibly strong and experienced team in the field and in the office. We have been an industry leader for 58 years by empowering our people, inspiring innovation and exceeding our customers’ expectations. We will stay focused on these pillars as we continue to grow and serve our clients,” said Peterson.
ERMCO also announced promotions for David Werking to Director of Business Development, Tom Davis to Director of Integrated Services, James Wilson to Shipping and Receiving Manager, and Tim Chance to Tool Manager. “As ERMCO has grown from a small, family-owned business to a diverse, national firm, we’ve been able to do so without sacrificing client experience or our dynamic employee culture. It makes me very happy to see staff grow and take on new leadership roles. I’m excited to see what the ERMCO team will accomplish in 2021,” Greg Gossett, ERMCO President and CEO.
