ERMCO Awards Two ACE Mentor Scholarships


The 11th Annual ACE Mentor Program Scholarship and Awards Dinner was held this past week. ERMCO was again a $4,000 Named Scholarship donor and awarded two scholarships, each for $2,000.

The first scholarship went to Benjamin Holmes, a senior at North Central High School. Benjamin will be attending Purdue next year in the Engineering school. The second winner was Alexander Jamison, a senior at Warren Central High School. Alexander will be applying for the electrical apprenticeship with the IBEW upon graduation and will be working for ERMCO this summer as a helper.

ERMCO was represented at the event by Darrell Gossett, Chairman, Greg Gossett, President and CEO, and Adam Rude, ERMCO’s Director of Construction Services. Adam serves on the ACE Mentor Program Board of Directors and is Chairman of the Scholarship Committee.

In total, over $47,000 in scholarships were given out this year, bringing the total to approximately $550, 000 since the program’s inception 11 years ago. Six schools presented projects this year including North Central, Warren Central, Arsenal Technical H.S., Ben Davis, Lawrence Township Schools and Decatur Central.
